Forgiveness can be very hard, but it is important that we try our best at it. This is what God tells us to do. In the Lord's Prayer it says, 'Forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.'
The story we heard today was taken from the Bible Matthew 18:21-35. The unforgiving servant was forgiven his large debt, by the king, but in turn does not forgive the lesser debt of a fellow servant, hence the king places him in gaol for being so unforgiving.
A team member acted out the roll of the unforgiving servant, and was interviewed whilst in 'gaol'. The congregation really engaged with the story, with much interaction and some heckling!!
Fantastic craft tables- broken biscuits iced back together, paper boats sunk with too many marbles and I even had my running socks mended, brilliant.
